So we know what is happening with the Formula 2's, but what can we expect to watch when the F2's are off track.... for your entertainment.....
  SATURDAY NIGHT

These small are the stars of tomorrow. Reigning track champion Chris Mikulla (522) cut his teeth in this formula, as did F2 Challenge Champion Nathan Maidment (935). Last year's points champion Becky Pearce (660) is now finding her way in F2.
Non contact, it's open for children aged 11-16, and is the next generation from the Mini Rods roots. Expect door handle to door handle action and no inch given, these kids are alright!

Following the success of the previous attempt last summer, Back 2 Basics is back!
Simple. Cheap. Effective. Big on action, not on price, a truly disposable form of racing! Rip out the necessary, stick a cage in and let's go racing, and then crashing!!!
Nearly 90 cars last year and this year like 2 Unlimited sang- there's no limit!

SUNDAY

Close quarters action for the highly tuned cars, when precision is key on the tight Mendips track. Reigning Track Champion, James Griggs (258) is the one to watch, however we often see veteran multi national hot rod champion Colin White (718) comes to turn back the clock.

Mendips' annual tribute takes place in its traditional Midsummer date. It's invitation only, which means its done in the spirit intended, racing, nudging, spinning without the follow in, until the final, when anything goes. Graham Salter was a gentleman banger racer, taken too soon from us, and with it being invitation only, it's raced for in the right spirit, befitting the late banger racer
